Find the Source. Fix It Right.

Water leaks rarely announce themselves at the source. A stain on your ceiling might trace back to a roof valley, a window flashing, or even a siding seam three feet away. That's why leak work is detective work—and why we've built our reputation in Cape May on getting it right.

We don't patch symptoms. We investigate how water moves, where it's entering, and what's allowing it through. Then we make repairs that last.

Leaks Come from More Than Roofs

Most homeowners call us thinking it's a roof problem. Sometimes it is. But just as often, the culprit is:

  • Window or door flashing that was never sealed correctly
  • Siding joints where caulk has failed or J-channel is missing
  • Roof-to-wall transitions where two planes meet
  • Chimney or skylight perimeters with deteriorated counter-flashing

We check all of it. If your roof is sound but your windows are letting water behind the walls, we'll tell you—and we'll fix it.

Why Leaks Get Worse

Water doesn't wait. Once it finds a path, it follows it—into sheathing, insulation, framing, and drywall. What starts as a drip becomes rot, mold, and structural damage.

The longer a leak goes unaddressed, the more expensive the repair. We've seen $300 flashing jobs turn into $3,000 sheathing replacements because someone waited a season too long.

If you see a stain, feel a drip, or smell mustiness, call us. We'll come out, trace it, and give you an honest answer about what it'll take to stop it.

Our Process

We treat every leak like a puzzle. We don't guess.

  1. Walk the exterior — roof, walls, trim, penetrations
  2. Inspect the interior — attic, ceilings, walls for water trails
  3. Identify the entry point — not just where it's dripping, but where it's getting in
  4. Explain what we found — in plain terms, with photos if needed
  5. Make the repair — properly flashed, sealed, and built to keep water out for good

Most leak calls we can handle the same day or within 48 hours, depending on materials and weather.

How it works
01

Exterior & Interior Inspection

We examine your roof, siding, windows, doors, and attic to trace the water's path from entry point to visible damage.

02

Source Identification

Using our experience with coastal weather and building science, we pinpoint exactly where water is getting in—not just where it's showing up.

03

Transparent Explanation

We walk you through what we found, what caused it, and what it will take to fix it permanently. No jargon, no surprises.

04

Proper Repair

We make the repair right—whether it's re-flashing a chimney, sealing a window, or replacing damaged shingles—so the leak doesn't come back.

Common questions
How quickly can you come out for a leak?+

We prioritize active leaks. In most cases, we can schedule an inspection within 24–48 hours. If you're dealing with heavy water intrusion, call us right away and we'll do our best to get there same-day.

What if the leak isn't coming from my roof?+

That's common. We inspect windows, doors, siding, and roof-to-wall transitions as part of every leak call. If the problem is outside our scope, we'll tell you exactly what trade you need—and we can often recommend someone local.

Can you fix it the same day you find it?+

Often, yes—especially if it's a flashing issue, a few missing shingles, or a sealant failure. Larger repairs that require materials or dry weather may take a day or two to schedule, but we'll get you patched up in the meantime if needed.
